Shout out to Jaco Terblanche and EMPD

A special thank you to all that assisted us.

MOHAMED YUSUF LAHER writes:

Being despondent for so many months, I can once again say my faith in humanity has been restored.

In the early hours of June 9, my younger brother tragically left this world. Being in a state of total shock and disorientation, I reached out to Jaco Terblanche for assistance.

He put us in touch with Chief Supt Danie van Heerden, who arranged that Insp Cornelius Rudolf and his team at the EMPD professionally and efficiently assisted us in controlling traffic to guide the hearse and mourners to the highway en route to Newclare Cemetery, where he was to be buried timeously to complete our religious rights.

A special thank you to all that assisted us and Allah (God), willingly taking the department to new heights to restore our broken and despondent community.

We, the Laher families at Boundary Silk Bazaar, thank all and appreciate everything they did on that Sunday morning to assist us.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
