I am writing in reply to Paul’s letter in Kempton Express dated June 27 (“Questions to political parties in Kempton”).
All political parties make these promises before elections every year, even with by-elections or ward elections. And what happens after that – nothing.

They only want people to vote for them so they can still have a job in office. Further, they don’t do anything for the people who vote for them.
That is the problem and it always happens. They are there for themselves and not for the people.
Until the day we have politicians who care about the people and the country and not their own pockets, only then will we have significant change that will grow the country.
