It is an absolute disgrace that the municipality does not take any responsibility for the power failure that lasted an entire week.

Law-abiding paying citizens had to accept the loss of food and rental of power generators during this time. During this time, there was no hot water to bath the young and babies in, let alone for cooking food.

What the municipality should be ashamed of is the absolute silence from the municipal manager, not to mention the mayor in his absence

But month end, the taxpayers must contribute to their salaries. The call centre was totally non-existent as they are not trained to deal with this type of situation.

Shame on you all.
