Kempton cricket players selected for big T20 tourney

KEMPTON Park Cricket Club premier league players, Johan Fourie and Grant Thompson, have been selected for the Easterns Team, which will include Protea player Quinton de Kock, participating in the inaugural CSA Africa T20 tournament.

The pool games will be hosted at Willowmoore Park from September 4 to 6 and tickets can be booked through the club by SMS 083-984-2829 at R20 a person.

Easterns will need to end top of the pool, which includes Western Province, Zimbabwe and Northerns, to advance to the semi-finals.

Games will be televised on Supersport.
