Star swimmer bags medals

LIZE-MARI de Beer (15) from Kempton Park represented Mandeville Dolphins Swimming Club at the KZN Seagulls Winter Short Course Swimming Championships 2015 in Durban from October 8 to 11, and claimed seven individual gold medals.

She won these medals in the 50m freestyle in 27.26; 100m freestyle in 58.46; 200m freestyle in 2:05.43; 400m freestyle in 4:24.15; 200m backstroke in 2:20.70; 100m fly in 1:05.44 and 200m individual medley in 2:23.44.

Lize-Mari secured a further three gold medals in three separate relays, which brings her total to 10 gold medals for this gala.
