Local walks away with Mr Body Beautiful title

STEFAN Fouché (23) is the new Mister Body Beautiful.

Former Hoërskool Kempton park student and qualified personal trainer at 67 Training says the reason he exercises and looks after himself is to inspire others to live healthier.
“I started exercising when I was 16 years old, but only started to focus on it completely when I was 20. It has taken me three years to get to the point where I am today,” said Fouché.

He exercises five times a week and follows a healthy diet with a lot of protein and very few carbs.
“Everyone has to start somewhere, I always say the biggest pleasure in life is to do the things that everyone tells you you won’t be able to do. Don’t let people break you down, show them that you are capable of anything you put your mind to. Why strive to be better, when you can be the best!” he said.
Fouché added that this competition was definitely a highlight in his life that he will never forget. “It made me realise I look good and that I want to better myself now.”
One of his biggest inspirations is Arnold Schwarzenegger. “Everything about him and what he has done in the fitness industry is done with passion to change the industry.
“This title, to me, means that I am now the new face of Mr Body Beautiful 2015, but not only that, I have also realised that I am an example for people now and I am extremely excited for the future that is ahead of me and the team that I work with. I want to show people that it is possible to prep for four weeks and go out on a stage and feel as big as the world!” said Fouché.
He added, “I also just want to thank my friend Juan and the team at 67 Training, as well as my parents Alet and Jaco, and my girlfriend Azel and my awesome clients, without these people in my life I would have not been able to have done what I did.”
