Players compete in round robin

MODDERFONTEIN Tennis Club held its Davis Cup Round Robin on Saturday.

The results were:

Junior club:

Djokovic Section: 1. Kyle Marais. 2. Rohan Steyn. 3. Cody Alexander. 4. Bevin Hughes. 5. Natasha Ludgrove.

Elite Club:

Djokovic Section: 1. Marco Neto and Jarryd Pretorius (tie). 2. Matthew Chalmers.

Federer Section: 1. Alex Gerov. 2. Remo Mokgatle. 3. Evert Marais and Jordan Solz (tie). 4. Abigail Bottger. 5. David Jung. 6. Mihle Boya.

The club’s final tournament for the year will be the Christmas Round Robin on November 28. All players must wear a Christmas hat.
