Tembisa karatekas ready for grading
"2015 has been good to Tembisa karate and the karatekas, because we were able to take part in all the regional, provincial and national tournaments in South Africa."
Nokuthula Ntuli will be going for her grading at the Vaal Reefs Stadium in Klerksdorp on December 5.
Nokuthula, also known as Ladies Mantobazana, will undergo grading for her yellow belt.
“2015 has been good to Tembisa karate and the karatekas, because we were able to take part in all the regional, provincial and national tournaments in South Africa.
“Two of our best karatekas went to Japan to learn more about karate techniques and discipline,” said Sensei Paul ‘Dragon’ Sehlabelo.
He said the grading students include Lucky ‘Slagger’ Tsoku, who will also grade for a yellow belt.
“These three boys and girl, in karate circles, are called Tembisa’s magnificent four,” he said.
The Sensei said the young stars carry the hopes and aspirations of the people of Tembisa on their shoulders.
“As their head instructor, I wish them good luck during their grading sessions,” he said.
