Mayor tees off the 105th SA Open Championship

Ekurhuleni executive mayor, Clr Mondli Gungubele, officially teed off the 105^th edition of the SA Open Championship tournament and declared it open at Glendower Golf Club in Edenvale on Thursday.

The second oldest open championship tournament is now on and is proudly hosted by the City of Ekurhuleni for the fifth consecutive year.

The golf tournament is set to continue until Sunday with the tournament’s five times champion and tournament host, Ernie Els, expected to show off his best swings and putting on the Glendower Golf course throughout the tournament.
