McGee swimmers make waves

ESP achieved an overall third place

MCGEE’S Swimming School, which is part of the ESP Swimming Club, took part in the Eastern Gauteng Championships in December.

ESP achieved an overall third place with more than 20 clubs participating in the championships.

Each and every swimmer swam personal best times during the course of the championship and contributed points in most events.

Rudi Botha qualified for two finals and obtained a 7th and 8th place. Bernelee Doster obtained a bronze medal in the 100m butterfly. She qualified for the finals in 10 different events and contributed over 43 points.

She swam personal best times in most of her events. She also qualified to take part at the level 2 regional championships at the end of March.
