Boyne United receives new kit
"As a team, we have been struggling to get proper soccer kit for a long time."
Boyne United FC was presented with new soccer gear on Saturday.
The team’s coach, Mr Amos Mphahlele, said officials and players of Boyne United FC thanked the management of Supreme Printers Company for donating the new soccer kit, which includes new soccer boots and a ball.
“As a team, we have been struggling to get proper soccer kit for a long time. We have tried, without success, to get a sponsorship,” said Mr Mphahlele.
The sponsored soccer gear was used in a soccer match that was played on Saturday.
Mr Mphahle said they would also like thank Pastor Bethuel Mutavhatsindi, of Hope Alive Christian Centre, for facilitating the sponsorship negotiations.
Pastor Mutavhatsindi said his church’s vision is to help the needy.
He said the printing company gave him the task of identifying entities that need funding and he discovered Boyne United FC.
