The PSL’s Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will compete in the Soweto derby – a soccer rivalry that has pulled South African fans for many years.

Two supporters of the two teams spoke to The Tembisan about their concerns before the fiercely contested match.

Kaizer Chiefs supporter, Blondie “GP” Molele, said the PSL big teams are coached by local coaches.

He said both the South African coaches are doing a good job.

“Coaches are working hand-in-hand and it shows that local football is growing in our country. We support that as fans,” said Molele.

Orlando Pirates supporter, Peter Chabalala, appealed to South Africa to give local coaches a chance to coach big, professional local teams.

“That will bring growth in South African football,” said Chabalala.

These two die-hard supporters are looking forward to Saturday’s match.
