Mixed bag of results for Kempton’s juniors
U/12 super league lost to United by 28 runs

THE teams of Kempton Park Junior Cricket Club brought home a mixed bag of results over the weekend.
U/8 B1 beat U/8 B2 by seven wickets. U/8 B2 batted first and scored 86/4 with Kian Patterson taking 2/17 and Ethan Kotze 1/1. Tristan Westman made 26* runs and Ethan James managed a 16*.
U/8 B1 reached the target in the 21st over with James Howard scoring 12* runs and Christopher Bennett 10*. Careem Swanepoel took 1/7 and Joshua Hosking 1/2.
U/10 A1 beat Bakerton by one wicket. Bakerton batted first and scored 84 all out with Kyle Skillings taking 4/3 and Gideon van Zyl 2/16.
Kempton reached the target in the 24th over with Luke Scrimgeour slotting 27* and Martin Williams 21 runs.
U/10 A2 beat Tsakane by 111 runs. Kempton batted first and scored 184/5 with Dandre Bredenhann scoring 39*, Aiden Patterson 32, Matthew Keating 29* and Connor White 32*.
Tsakane were bowled out for 73 with Nishal Dajee taking 2/10, Christiaan Kloppers 1/11 and Tashyn Vandayar 1/11.
U/12 super league lost to United by 28 runs. United scored 159/6 with Jared Sandler taking 2/22 and Phillip Schoeman 2/24.
Kempton managed 131/4 with Kian van Heerden scoring 54 runs and James Enslin 33.
U/12 A1 lost to Bakerton by three wickets. Kempton scored 153/7 with Daniel Wilken getting 80 runs and Sirav Sewsunker 15.
Bakerton reached the target for the loss of seven wickets with Ulrich Krause taking 2/28.
U/12 A2 beat Vosloorus by 104 runs. Kempton batted first and scored 160/5 with Declan Jansen getting 36 runs and Aiden Gouws 35.
Vosloorus were bowled out for 54 runs with Jordan Nash taking 3/4, Connor Grobler 2/5 and Wiaan van den Berg 2/10.
