Easter games kick off in March

The 2016 Mosehla Easter Games was launched at the Khabogcina’s Lifestyle restaurant recently.
Supporters and players were served with tasty cuisine and entertained by a live band’s unique sound.
The Mosehla Easter Games has been running since 2013 and the organiser said it has been gradually growing.
The event has also gained positive support from the community.
“We appeal to the community to come and witness real Kasi diski,” said Tebogo Mosehla.
16 teams will be competing for the first prize of R100 000 plus soccer kit.
The second prize is R50 000.
Mr Tebogo Mosehla said there will also be a special prize of Adelaide golden boots worth R6 000.
“Two lucky supporters of the tournament will walk away with R5 000 following a raffle.
“Entrance is free,” said Mr Mosehla.
Koze Kuse’s manager, Mr Thabang Masilela, said the team is happy to participate as the defending champions of the tournament.
“These are our own Kasi games where we entertain locals and express the exceptional talent of Kasi football. Come in large numbers to support and we won’t disappoint,” said Mr Masilela.
Khabogcina’s Lifestyle restaurant donated a wheelchair to coach Vusi, who really needed it.
The founder of Push e-Vibe and the restaurant’s marketing manager, Mr Kabelo Dlamini Ka Sakala, thanked those who responded to the call made for donations to acquire the wheelchair.
Fixture for the tournament is as follows:
- March 25 at Square 2 Ground (Swazi Inn, behind BP garage)
Naledi Juventus versus Zitholenathi at 10am.
FC Sghodi versus Amasokolara at 12pm.
House of Gomora versus Amandla at 2pm.
Soweto All Stars versus Heineken at 4pm.
- March 26 at Square 2 Ground (Swazi Inn, behind BP garage)
Abarondoli versus Umlilo at 10am.
Wrong Turn versus Kuze Kuse at 12pm.
G-String versus Ama-BEE at 2pm.
Timberland versus Rebels FC at 4pm.
The semi-finals will be played on March 27 at the Esiqongweni Sports Centre in Entshonalanga Section, next to Jiyana Secondary School followed by the tournament final match on March 28 at the Makhulong Stadium.
