Bilnd bowlers draw against Allen park

THE blind bowlers of Central Gauteng and Ekurhuleni region took on Allen Park’s bowling team in a friendly match on February 28 at Allen Park.

The two teams were tied at the end of the day.

“The day was such a success. We enjoyed it so much, had so many laughs and made new friends. These people are amazing,” said Marie van Rooyen, resident at Allen Park.

The Gold Rand Chapter South Africa Harley-Davidson squad was also there displaying its iron horses.

“Thank you to everyone who helped with the organisation of the event and those who helped to make the prego rolls. It was such a fantastic day and we hope to do it soon again,” said van Rooyen.
