Local youngster gives her all at championship

She compete against 15 other racing drivers in a bid for the national championship status

A young Kempton Park racing driver, Kirsten “Angel” Kotze (8), came eighth overall in the World of Motorsport ZA (WOMZA) tar oval national championships on at the Richards Bay Hot Rod Club on Sunday.

Angel competed in the Kids In Racing SA Ninja Karts category for ages six to 12. She she raced her brand new 60cc powered Comer kart against 15 other racing drivers in a bid for national championship status.

With a full schedule, spectators can catch Angel in her next race on May 7 where she will be racing at The Ultimate Raceway in Vereeniging, and then again on May 14 at The Rock Raceway Circuit in Brakpan.
