Both teams started off on a good note, fighting hard to put themselves in the lead.

Rhino Stars FC took on New Generation FC in a friendly match at the Bokamoso Sports Grounds on Saturday last week.

Rhino Stars claimed a well-deserved 3-1 victory against New Generation.

Both teams started off on a good note, fighting hard to put themselves in the lead.

It was Rhino Stars’ players who managed to score first through the efforts of the reliable striker Eddy Letageng. He scored in the 11th minute of the first half, after receiving a well-timed pass from the left winger, Samukelo Ngoma.

Various attempts at goal were taken by both sides but to no avail.

New Generation was given a strong chance at scoring after a penalty was awarded, following a foul from a Rhino Stars player.

New Generation took advantaged of the opportunity and managed to equalise through the midfielder, Thabang Manamela.

As the first half drew to an end, Rhino Stars managed to sneak in a second goal through Lerato Ratau.

At the end of the first half, the score was 2-1.

Both teams came back into the second half with more focus, but it was Rhino Stars that scored a third goal through Keabetse Lelaka and sealed the victory for his team.

New Generation was simply unable to score during the second half.
