SEVENTY-FOUR athletes of Kempton Road Runners completed this year’s down-run of the Comrades Marathon.
Three club runners won silver medals, finishing the race in less than seven and a half hours.
Senzen Ngobeni was the club’s best runner, finishing the race in 07:09:49. He was followed by Pieter Andries Swanepoel (07:22:36) and Phillimon Makgobatlou (07:22:41).

Athletes who finished in under nine hours, receiving the Bill Rowan Medal, were:
