Footballers invited to tournament

"We are inviting interested team officials to attend our meeting on Friday."

Tembisa soccer legend Jerry Sikhosana’s Winter Games will kick off on June 27.

The games will be played at the Ecaleni Sports Grounds.

According to Mr Sikhosana, there will be prizes for the winners.

“Gift bags will be awarded to each finalist in each division. The bags contain training equipment, soccer balls, coaches apparel and soccer kit. The overall expense of the bag is R4 500,” said Mr Sikhosana.

Mr Sikhosana said they are appealing to local teams in the surrounding areas to join the tournament.

“We are inviting interested team officials to attend our meeting on Friday at the Khalambazo Sports Grounds 2 at 5pm,” said Mr Sikhosana.

The football divisions that are expected to participate in the tournament include the U/11, U/13 and U/15 teams.
