Riverpark’s short distance champions crowned
The awards function was hosted in Rhodesfield
GAWIE Botha of Doves Nest Guest House and Reinholdt Brichta were the young bird single bird and old bird single bird winners respectively of Riverpark Pigeon Club.
Club members attended a breakfast on July 16 to hand out the awards to the short distance race winners, which was hosted at Doves Nest Guest House in Rhodesfield.
In the young bird scheme, Sky Lofts (Corrie Moller) was second with Hilton Pitout and G & E Lofts joint in third. In the old bird scheme, Pieter van den Broeck was second and Pine Pienaar third.
The all bird young bird winner was again Doves Nest Guest House, with Van den Broeck second and Sky Lofts third in the young bird scheme.
In the old bird all bird averages, Mr and Mrs Neilson were the winners. Brichta was second with Blackie Swart was third.
