Lekgothoane is unmatched on the golf course
His sterling net 67 could not be matched by anyone in the field as he romped home by a mammoth four shots.
After winning the B Division section of the Kempton Winter Championship over the weekend of August 7, Michael Lekgothoane continued his form by clobbering everyone on Sunday during the Tembisa Golf Club’s 18-hole medal event.
His sterling net 67 could not be matched by anyone in the field as he romped home by a mammoth four shots.
Lekgothoane was unlucky not to have been in the team that beat Merafong once again in Potchefstroom 2, in a previous tournament.
The big hitting Lekgothoane is currently on form and even the current club champion Jerry Mosia could not stop him.
The greatest disappointment was Bernstein Ndlovu of Umthambeka section, as he came last to the whole field when he was in fact the pre-event favourite.
The standard of the game in Tembisa is undoubtedly at its highest, hence beating almost every team they have played against so far in 2016.
The club thanks all its members so far for their relentless, continued support and at the same time takes this opportunity to inform them that the club’s AGM will be in October. The traditional club braai will take place in October.
