George Maluleka Heritage Tournament creates platform for discovery of new talent.
The George Maluleka Heritage Tournament kicks off on September 17.
The u/15, u/17 and u/19 tournament will run over two weekends, September 17, 18, and 24 and 25.
The first game of the tournament will be staged at Hospital View Legend soccer field.
A total of 24 soccer teams will lock horns for an opportunity to get a sponsorship of soccer kits and other relevant soccer equipment.
The organiser, Micheal Boshomane, said this tournament does not only include soccer but eight netball teams will also compete.
“This annual soccer and netball tournament has been running since 2014 and is gradually growing in leaps and bounds,” said Boshomane.Tembisa sports fanatics are invited to come and experience exceptional talent.
“Apart from prizes, the tournament will also boast medals, trophies and talent scouts from Premier Soccer League (PSL) to look for excelling players,” said Boshomane.
