Runners prepare for Tembisa race

The race will start and finish at the Moses Molelekwa Arts Center adjacent to the Makhulong Stadium.

About 1 500 runners and walkers will take to the streets of Tembisa on October 30 for the third edition of the Tomtom Tembisa 10km run and walk.

The race will start at 8am.

Race registrations will take place at the race venue on October 29 from 9am until late. Registration will also be possible on race-day, from 6am.

The 10km race is open to anyone who is 15 years and older.

The entry fee for the 10km is R60 for licensed athletes, R80 for unlicensed athletes and R100 for unlicensed athletes without championchip timing devices.

There is a street mile race for boys and girls in the U/15 and U/19 category. The entry fee for the street mile is R40.

All finishers will receive race medals and goodie bags.
