AVION Park Cricket Club’s promotion side beat Etwatwa by five wickets at Rhodesfield Technical High School on Sunday.
Etwatwa were bowled out for 114 with Joshua Wilken taking five wickets.
The chairman’s side lost against Vosloorus by nine wickets at the same venue. Avion batted first and were all out for 145.
Vosloorus reached the total in 23.2 overs. Jacques Smit made 31.
The U/8 B2 was the only junior side in action on Saturday when they played Wattville at Sahara Park.
Avion batted first scored and 89/2 in 25 overs. Wattville made 57/7 in 25 overs to give Avion a 32-run victory.
Louis Pieterse scored 18*, Louhan Human 8*. Quinton Smith took 3/5, Thinus Smith 1/4, Louhan Human 1/6 and Peet van Deventer 1/10.
