Brothers do well in tennis tourneys

TWO brothers, Chay (13) and Arron van Eck (9), did very well in the Gauteng East Summer Tennis Tournament played at Lakeside in December.

Arron was the singles and doubles champion of the boys U/ 10 section. His doubles partner was Noah Oosthuizen from Gauteng Central.

He also played in the Gauteng North Tennis South Africa Tournament from January 6-10, where Arron finished fourth in the singles.

Chay was the doubles champion at the Gauteng East summer tournament in the boys U/14 division. His doubles partner was Ethan Lee of Gauteng East.

Both boys are members of Modderfontein Tennis Club and Top Tennis Academy.
