Seminars for novice Comrades runners
A panel of experts will provide invaluable advice
TWO seminars for novice Comrades runners will be hosted by Bonitas, close to Kempton Park in March.
To help get you across the finish line before the 12-hour cut-off time, it is essential that you are prepared.
It is important that you know what to expect of the route, that you have trained adequately in terms of time spent out on the road and fuelled the body correctly.
The Bonitas Comrades Novice Seminars are designed to do just that.
These informative sessions are specifically aimed at the first-time Comrades Marathon runner.
A panel of experts in the fields of medicine, sport psychology, dietetics as well as the official Comrades coach will provide invaluable advice, answer questions and support newbies in terms of complete preparation for the race.
Entrance is free.
The first seminar will take place on March 29 at 7pm at Benoni Northerns Athletic Club, Benoni Northerns Sports Club, 1 Brodigan Road, Rynfield, Benoni.
The second will be on April 4 at 7pm at Irene Athletics Club, The Auditorium, Agricultural Research Council, Irene Campus, Olifantsfontein Road, Irene.
