Most of Kempton's junior teams won their encounters

KEMPTON Park Junior Cricket Club’s results for the past week.

U/8A lost to Avion. Kempton reached 115 all out. Man of the match was Jean de Villiers 17*, Dino Binks 16*, Troy Gordon 16*. Avion reached 116/4 to win the match. Dino Binks attained bowling figures of 1/8 and Casey Roux attained figures of 1/8.

U/10 super league 1 beat United by 33 runs. Kempton scored 160. Floors Mynhardt scored 43, Joshua Shanker 33*, Divan de Vries 24* and Connor le Grange 21.

The bowlers managed to keep their run rate low despite not taking many wickets. A brilliant diving catch and run out by Stian Smith and run out by Connor White ensured the victory. Kaeden Naidu took 1/3.

U/10 super league 2 beat Duduza by 77 runs. Kempton scored 136/9. Luke Canon scored 37. Duduza were bowled out for 59. Deklin Bekker took 6/1 in 3.5 overs, which included a hat-trick.

U/10A1 beat SOB. SOB reached 72 all out. Luan Jordaan 2/6, Ruben Hanekom 2/7, Armandt Botha 2/9 and Chardyn van Zyl 1/10. Kempton reached the target in

13 overs with Malcolm Janse van Rensburg scoring 19*, Ian Robb 9* and Garth Van Deventer 9*.

U/10A2 beat Kwa Thema by 105 runs. Marko Richter scored 29* and Neil Erasmus 22. Neil Erasmus then went onto take 3/6 and Declan Nel 5/5, for which Nel was also awarded man of the match.

U/10B1 beat Bakerton by 20 runs. Armand Rood scored 22* and Anton Lombard reached 20.

U/10B2 beat Wattville by 114 runs. Jaden Erasmus was the man of the match for his bowling figures of 1/1.

U/12A1 lost to Boksburg by 30 runs. Boksburg scored 130/9. Jordan Southey returned with 4/20, earning him man of the match, and Adam Pansegrouw finished with 2/25. Kempton replied with 103/7, with Esailen Ruthman top scoring with 15* and Mikailen Reddy with 14.

U/12A2 beat Springs Old Boys by four wickets in a closely contested match, winning on the last ball of the match. Man of the match was Reuben Jordaan for his unbeaten 45.

U/12B1 played against Alberton and won by 45 runs. Man of the match award went to Drew Wilkinson for outstanding fielding contributions.
