Anglers net 407 fish at Bultfontein

THE 27 anglers who took part in Kempton Park Angling Association’s monthly competition caught 407 fish weighing 314.05kg.

The competition took place on February 18 at at Bultfontein (Vaaldam).

The individual results were:

Seniors: 1 Callie Jacobz (33 fish, 20.21kg). 2 Lloyd Price (25 fish, 27.75kg). 3 Steve Mynhardt (17 fish, 35.455kg).

Masters: 1 Italo Filisetti (39 fish, 25.255kg). 2 Stoffel du Plessis (19 fish, 11.225kg). 3 Phill Dalby (12 fish, 10.2kg).

Women: 1 Bernadette Botes (18 fish, 9.835kg). 2 Anita Botes (11 fish, 6.135kg). 3 Kerry Dalby (10 fish, 5.275kg).

Juniors: 1 Lance Sherrin (11 fish, 8.2kg).

Penkoppe: 1 Nicolaas Roos (1 fish, 0.31kg).

Four species winner: Callie Jacobsz (4, 3.66kg).
