Tembisa Soccer and Netball Cup starts soon
Tembisa schools will compete for big prizes in a sport tournament.

Tembisa schools will be taking part in the Tembisa Soccer and Netball Cup 2017.
DSD Biz HUB Director Ms Sue Gosh said DSD Event Management is sponsoring the event in association with its partners.
“It will be an indoor soccer and netball tournament whereby 20 secondary and 40 primary schools in Tembisa will be taking part and it will be hosted during the April school holidays, from April 3 to 13, at the Midrand Action Sports Arena with the finals being played on Youth Day, June 16,” said Ms Gosh.
“Prizes valued at over R100 000 are up for grabs and the winning teams, together with their coaches, stand to win historic trips to Cape Town with visits to Robben Island and the V&A Waterfront,” said Ms Gosh.
“The learners will also have the opportunity of being discovered by the Indoor Soccer and Netball Federation talent scouts and could easily end up going for trials and being selected to play at nationals.
“All the learners who will be participating in this tournament have been equipped with a raffle form and we ask that the community support them in completing this raffle form – as this will cover their entry fee into the competition as well as their breakfast, lunch and transport for the day.”
This is a fundraiser for all the participating schools, and community members stand a chance to win big prizes by supporting the learners with their raffles.
