The team faced Limpopo Hornbills in the semi-final played at the TUT Oval on Saturday, April 1. After winning the toss, Kempton sent Limpopo in to bat on a good wicket.

The bowlers held their discipline and executed their plans very well, restricting the opposition to 110/7. The Kempton batsmen made light work of the target, reaching 111/1 in 9.5 overs.

Wesley Marshall (54*) and Anton Muller (51*) dominated proceedings.

This set up a final in the afternoon against Pretoria High School Old Boys who had swept aside Mpumalanga in the other semi-final on the day.

Old Boys were sent in to bat and posted a competitive 151/7 in 20 overs. After an early stutter in their innings, the experienced Johan Fourie (54*) and Armand Erasmus (51*) steered Kempton home with 10 balls to spare.

Kempton Park will represent the Titans at the Community Cup T20 National Championships in Pretoria from April 7 to 9.
