Warbirds will take to the sky at Barnstormers

As always, there are special events which will only be announced on the day

IT is fast approaching. The model aircraft event which cannot be missed.

Heinie’s Warbird Day Airshow has been enjoyed by young and old for nearly a decade. Starting at 9.30am on May 21 at Barnstormers, expertly built scale war plane model aircraft will take to the skies – displaying not only their super realistic looks and sounds but also pilot skills.

Some of the aircraft that will be displayed for viewing pleasure will be P-51 Mustangs, P-47 Thunderbolt, P-40 Warhawk, Mitsubishi A6M2 type Zero and Grumman F6F Hellcat.

Turbine aircraft being flown at speeds exceeding 300km/h will also blow spectators’ minds.

As always, there are special events which will only be announced on the day, surprising visitors with some never before seen entertainment. Above the lure of aircraft and fun in the sun, food and beverages will be on sale.

Entrance is R50 a vehicle and secure parking will be available. Bring your cameras and chairs, as there will be loads of entertainment for the whole family.
