“It feels exciting to defeat a south paw (a person hitting with left punches). I defeated a person I never fought before. It says a lot, it means I am improving a lot,” said Langa.

“It was an achievement for me because I now have experience. Now I can see all the punches coming from the left. My future plan is to fight overseas.”

The young man said he has two role models in the sport – Zolile Miya and Thabang Ramagole.

“Both fighters don’t rush their fights and are both in the same club as me. They give me advice on all my fights.”
