Kempton 3rd side reaches cup final
The second team celebrated their largest win of the season by devastating Germiston by 7-2

KEMPTON Park Football Club’s super league side beat Germiston 3-1 in an away game on Saturday.
Kempton led 2-0 at half-time by virtue of a brace of Euclid Palmer goals.
Germiston struck back five minutes into the second half and despite a few scares, Ociano Pretorius made it 3-1 with a couple of minutes remaining.
The second team celebrated their largest win of the season by devastating Germiston by 7-2. Goals from Thabani Masilela, Rudolph Komape and Johannes Modiba gave Kempton a 3-0 lead before Germiston pulled one back.
Kempton added goals by Skillo Ditshego and Komape to lead 5-1 at half-time. Germiston again pulled a goal back but a further strike by Ditshego and a rare header by Komape completed the rout.
The story of the day may belong to the Kempton third team who defeated ELFA Division 1 champions, Royal Lions, in their cup semi-final 5-3. After finding themselves a goal down early in the game, Kempton were 5-1 up at one stage before conceding two late goals.
Kempton will meet Olympia in the final.
The first and second sides will be playing away in Boksburg on Saturday.
