COURTNEY Bam was the star of Avion Park Cricket Club’s victory over Bakerton in the chairman’s league at the weekend.
Playing at Hoërskool Jeugland, Bam scored 123 runs and took 4/32 in four overs, which included a hat-trick.
Avion batted first and scored 237/10 in 29 overs.
Bakerton were bowled out for 194/10 in 29 overs, giving Avion a 43-run win.
Other Avion players who did well were Anton Botha (40), Jurian Pienaar (35) and Devon Pienaar (3/25 in 5 overs).
