Tembisa Golf Club hosts Ebuhleni Golf Open
There are a number of hot favourites to win this inaugural event
ON December 9 and 10 a host of golfers will take to the fairways of Ebuhleni Golf Club in Tembisa to take part in this 36-hole major golf event in the township.
The tournament will be played over two days and will mark the end of a fantastic season of golf.
The club’s executive has been hard at work making sure this event will become an annual one.
This time around the event will be co-hosted with Kempton Park Country Club which will be the main sponsor. Next year the club hopes to attract sponsorships from private businesses in and around Tembisa.
There are a number of hot favourites to win this inaugural event, including George Mokela, Sam Bhila, Benny Makume, Reuben Motsomotso, Andries Maenetja, Mao Dimo and Joko Makhoba, not forgetting Frans Molepo.
Low scores have become the norm at Ebuhleni as golfers have improved given the amount of time they have had on this course. Dimo had recorded rounds of 30 and 31.
Golf enthusiasts are invited to attend the event and also join the club.
