Golfers tee off for animals and Down’s Syndrome children
Kempton Park SPCA and the Down's Syndrome Association of Gauteng (DSAG) were the focal point at the Festival Mall Charity Golf Day.
GOLFERS recently gathered at Kempton Park Golf Club for a charity day hosted by Festival Mall.
“The golf day was sponsored by Festival Mall in aid of Kempton Park SPCA and the Down’s Syndrome Association of Gauteng (DSAG),” said Lee-Anne Da Silva, marketing manager at Festival Mall.
“We met with the SPCA and DSAG and realised there is a need to support and help and we thought the most successful mechanism would be a charity golf day.”
The event managed to swing in 88 players.
“We thank all shoppers and players for their support; it is greatly appreciated as you helped make the event the success it was,” said Da Silva.
“This was our first charity golf day and we hope to make it an annual event.”
