Programme nurtures sporting talent
The programme instills sports skills in youngsters between the ages of six and nine.
KEMPTON Park West Sports Development and Education has embarked on a mission to take up youngsters between the ages of six and nine years to instill sports skills in them.
The organisation’s chairman, Sipho Makalela, said the development programme was established in 2014 and is aimed at ensuring that youngsters lead better lives.
Makalela said the programme trains youngsters for all sporting codes.
“Parents of Kempton Park West are welcome to come with their kids to sign up for the programme,” Makalela said.

The programme currently has 32 recruits.
“When we started, we were training the children for football, but we will now be training them in different sporting codes,” Makalela added.
