Rockmania showdown time on January 20
Gates will open at 10am with practice sessions throughout the day and racing starting at 3pm.
The annual Rockmania Showdown will take place at The Rock Raceway in Brakpan on January 20.
Starting the new year in true Rockmania fashion, competitors will be competing in a full complement of oval track disciplines, including Ninja Midgets, 125 Shifter Karts, 1600 Stock Rods, 1660 Modified Saloons, 2L Hotrods, Super Saloons, Standard Midgets and V8 Sprint Cars.
The Formula N Circuit cars will also be track side, with all the high-speed antics of the saloon brigade.
Drift fans will be delighted as drifters create clouds of tyre smoke in the door-to-door drift battles. Suicide rides for drift fans will also be on sale on the day. It’s your chance to get up close and personal with all the drift action.
Gates will open at 10am with practice sessions throughout the day and racing starting at 3pm. Spectator entry is R100 for adults and R40 for children between 6 and 12 years.
