New football academy for youngsters opens at KPFC

A new football academy, using the grounds of Kempton Park Football Club on Plane Road in Spartan, has opened.

Football Academy Plus is a development programme providing professional development for players aged between 6-16 years, with the hope of feeding them into professional clubs locally and overseas.

The academy identifies individual strengths in players with the aim of producing intelligent, adaptable and influential footballers who have the ability to affect any football environment.

The professional infrastructure allows players to transform their talent and make football a career choice. The academy’s aim is to holistically evolve each player’s tactical and technical abilities while positively developing their psychological and physical attributes.

Training takes place at Kempton Park Football Club during the week with games being played on the weekends.
