Help raise funds for LifeLine by joining golf day
For the past 47 years, LifeLine has been servicing the Ekurhuleni community
Residents are invited to the LifeLine Ekurhuleni fund-raising golf day at Benoni Country Club on April 17.
A fourball costs R1 800 or R450 a player. A betterball scramble drive will be played.
Sponsors are also needed and car dealers will be allowed to exhibit vehicles.
Patricia Kekana of the marketing and sales team of LifeLine Ekurhuleni said, “In order to keep our doors open to the greater community, we embark on fund-raisers to cover our overhead costs and the golf day is one such event.”
For the past 47 years, LifeLine has been servicing the Ekurhuleni community.
“We offer telephonic and face to face counselling to the community free of charge for up to 4 sessions.
“Our telephone lines, as well as sessions in the centre, are offered by volunteer lay counsellors who receive no stipend.”
Kekana said LifeLine Ekurhuleni has been a leading provider of personal skills development and promotion of emotional wellness for the healing and transformation of individuals and communities in Ekurhuleni.
“As a community-based, civil society organisation, whose core services are provided by volunteers, LifeLine Ekurhuleni involves the community at large and its resources to achieve its objectives.”
