Kempton’s junior bowlers get great figures

Most of Kempton Park Junior Cricket Club’s teams in action last week won their matches.
U-8 Sun beat Bakerton by 81 runs. Man of the match was Blaine Kotze for his 26* and 1/12, backed by Lincoln Casais 20* and 2/7.
U-10 Impala Blue lost to Duduza by 10 wickets. Top batsmen were Mackenzie Ross 40 and Jean de Villiers 27*.
U-10 Sun Blue played Sun yellow in a league derby match on Friday evening. Batting first, Sun Blue made 85 with Vedant Choudry the pick of the bowlers for Sun Yellow with figures of 3/9.
In the reply, Sun Yellow fell 15 runs short of the target which was chased under lights. Dylan Botha top scored with 33 and they were restricted to 71 runs in their allotted overs.
U-10 Carnival Blue beat Alberton by 80 runs. The man of the match award was shared by Logan van der Bank 52* and Ewald van der Linde with 5/6.
U-12 Impala Pink beat KwaThema by eight wickets.
U-12 Sun Yellow beat Vosloorus by four wickets. Man of the match award went to Jonathan White for his bowling figures of 4/7.
