Sean Aldridge took 4/29 in 10 overs in Avion Park Cricket Club’s premier league’s six-wicket victory over KwaThema at the weekend.
KwaThema were bowled out for 94 in 29.3 overs, after which Avion reached 95/4 in 22.5 overs.
Joshua Wilken scored 27* and Wilhelm Bester 13*.
The chairman’s league team beat Alberton by three wickets.
Alberton elected to bat and were bowled out for 99 with Pieter Strydom taking 4/18 in four
overs.
Avion scored the required 100 in 19 overs with Rynhardt Heydenrych scoring 41*.
In the executive league, Avion played Germiston at Rhodesfield Technical High School. Germiston scored89/10 in 18 overs, with Anthony Harper taking 4/18 in five overs.
Avion scored 95/2 in 11 overs to win by eight wickets. Wayne Daniels made 43*.
