WATCH: Ringball league in full swing

Good sportsmanship and great ringball action at Kempton Park Ringball Club.

The Ekurhuleni North Ringball Association (ENRA) kicked-off the league on a high note at the Kempton Park Ringball Club on March 3.

The event saw seven clubs battle it out on the courts while shaking-off the off-season rust at the same time.

The warm sunny weather gave way to some healthy and fun competition.

Spectators, in the form of teammates, family and friends witnessed great ringball action in different age-groups.

The games started at 2pm and ended late with these clubs going head-to-head: Alberton, Blackreef (situated in Primrose), Dinwiddie, Elsburg, Kempton Park, Rynfield Jaquars (situated in Benoni) and Ukhozi (situated in Birchleigh).

All the clubs are registered with ENRA and compete in the official league and the league is played at Kempton Park Ringball Club situated at corner Greyilla Avenue and Kerk Street, entrance Pienaar Avenue.

Teams compete in different levels; men’s A and B, women’s A, B and C and juniors u-13.

The dates for upcoming matches are March 15, March 17, April 14, April 17, April 21, April 24, May 5, May 12, May 17 and the semi and the finals on May 26.

The games commence at 7pm on weekdays and at 2pm on Saturdays.
