As always, when the swimming season draws to an end, Aquatic Academy swimmers are involved in national and regional events all around the country.
All districts fill their calendars during the season with age group galas, giving swimmers many opportunities to qualify for one of the national or regional levels on offer. These are Level 1, 2, and 3, South African Junior, South African Youth, South African Elite Youth and the South African Open.

Amid these competitions are important inter-school events that culminate in the prestige gala.
At the prestige gala, Kyle Mckenzie won gold in the 200m individual medley, breaking the past long-standing record. Kyle broke the record the previous year too, defining himself as a medley swimmer. He also won the breaststroke and scored silver in the 50m butterfly.
Kyle Letley won two gold medals in the 50m fly and 200m freestyle.

Kieren Letley won a silver and bronze medal, Clayton Malaza won a silver medal, Bernelee Doster won a silver in the 50m breaststroke and Christina Pon, swimming in a relay for Reddam, won silver.
Danika Brechenmacher qualified to compete.
