Soweto Gold Superior Golden Lager, the easy drinking golden beer born and brewed eKasi, has launched the inaugural Flava Yase Kasi soccer tournament and invites all brothers to show their skills and stand the chance of being crowned the Kings of Kasi Flava.

Born in South Africa’s townships, Kasi Flava is a dynamic football style all of its own – encouraging freedom of expression that encompasses skills and tricks along with a strong dash of showmanship.

Local soccer legends for each region will be on-hand to assist the teams in showing off their best Kasi skills – chosen not only for their impressive careers but also for their commitment to nurturing and guiding their younger up and coming brothers.
Participating legends are Jerry “legs of thunder” Sikosana (Tembisa); Daniel “Mambush” Mudau (Mamelodi); Maimane Phiri (Alexandra); Lucky Lekgwathi (Ga-Rankuwa); Jabulani Mendu (Katlehong); Aaron Mokoena (Vaal); and “Shakes” Gwabeni (Soweto).
