Local teams invited to school holidays tournament

The Tembisa Youth Football Association is inviting local soccer teams to take part in their second term school holidays tournament that will take place at Winnie Mandela Sports Grounds in Zone 8 and 11.

The tournament will take place from June 25 to 29.

According to the tournament organiser, Aaron Mhlongo, there is only space for 16 teams per division.

“We are targeting teams that are u-11, u-13 and u-15. We are encouraging local teams to register for the tournament,” said Mhlongo.

Mhlongo said there will be various prizes to be won, including trophies, medals, soccer balls and training cones.

The affiliation fee is R150 per team per division.
