Hino Valke run amok against Border Bulldogs

Hino Valke won their first game in the Currie Cup First Division against Border Bulldogs on Saturday.

The Hino Valke, based at Barnard Stadium, kicked off the first round of the Currie Cup First Division on a strong and victorious note in a clash against the Border Bulldogs on Saturday.

Supporters gathered at Barnard Stadium to witness the local team score 10 tries for an emphatic 66-27 victory.

The hosts had a robust defence line which gave the East London visitors a tough time to get through, but the Border Bulldogs didn’t give up and managed to cross the try line a few times.

The Hino Valke continued their dominance despite Border Bulldogs’ attempts to better their score.

The local team evidently had a balanced attack-and-defend gameplan and stuck to it to the end. Although the Border Bulldogs maintained their fighting spirit and high stamina, they were limited to four tries.
