Avion bowlers are awarded
Success and good sportsmanship were among the things celebrated at Avion Park Bowling Club’s prize-giving
Avion Park Bowling Club concluded its 2017/2018 season with the prize-giving at the club on September 15.
The prize winners were given medals and trophies.
Club and committee members look forward to the next season starting at the end of September.
The winners were:
Women:
• Drawn trips – Amanda Perks, Grete Brown and Grace Beech. Runners-up: Gail Marais, Dora Dold and Magda Davel.
• Drawn pairs – Liezl George and Elizanne du Toit. Runners-up: Christelle Pringle and Amanda Perks.
• Selected pairs – Elizanne du Toit and Chloe Mostert. Runners-up: Meisie Rheeder and Grace Beech.
• Handicap singles – Elizanne du Toit. Runner-up: Liezl George.
• Novice singles – Liezl George. Runner-up: Karen Galloway.
• Senior singles – Grace Beech. Runner-up: Nellie Pretorius.
• Open singles -Elizanne du Toit. Runner-up: Karen Galloway.
