ESP swimmers do well at Soncini Games

The swimming event, hosted at the St Benedict’s 50m pool, was won by the Ekurhuleni team.

Five ESP swimmers were selected to compete in the second edition of the Ekurhuleni OR Tambo Soncini Games.

Oyama Malaza won five final ribbons, three gold and one silver medal, scoring 92 points.

Ona Matli swam three personal best times, winning four final ribbons and scoring 65 points.

Graham Peacock swam five personal best times, scoring 55 points and winning three final ribbons.

Zimasa Ngqawana swam five personal best times, winning a silver medal, five final ribbons and scoring 58 points.

Tinashe Senzeko achieved two personal best times and two ribbons. He did not score points.
