Coach Mann to steer KPFC players in the right direction

Players are invited to join KPFC’s super league side for training

Kempton Park Football Club’s senior super league side has started their pre-season training.

Training is on a Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7pm at the club on the corner of Green Avenue and Plane Road in Cresslawn.

The team is coached by John Mann, who has vast experience in football training and coaching.

Mann took over the side for the 2017/2018 season and achieved a top-eight finish. He has expressed a desire to finish in the top three this season and together with the correct blend of players, this goal is achievable.

John says: “The last 20 years of my life, I have done nothing but learn the game of soccer and then teach it. Working as a soccer coach means everything to me.

“It is the essence of my being as a sportsman and I relish every day I am on the field and in my element. I consider myself a perfect mentor and guide.”

Mann said his attitude is not that of someone who likes friction.

“I believe in providing guidance to my team members and creating an environment that is conducive to encouraging them to come to me with their problems and concerns.”

He invites all old and new players to attend these training sessions.
